Erskine Staride

Built for the 500cc Formula 3 era of the 1950s, the Erskine Staride was built by motorcycle speedway rider Mike Erskine in Southampton. It was designed by Dean Delamont and Cecil Mitchell.

The car had a centrally mounted fuel tank, located between the driver and the engine. It had rising-rate suspension, with a single shock absorber and torsion bars at the rear.
