The A-Z of Racing Cars

Mig 100 GT

Known as the MiG-Tako M100, Alexandr Marianashvili headed the project to build this car, and was rumoured to become one of those drivers who were going to race it at Le Mans. The car was equipped with under-powered Lamborghini and Motori Moderni engines, and was too slow - the single entry didn't qualify , Peo Consonni's lap time being more than a minute gap from that of the penultimate participant! The further lot of this project is wrapped in mystery.....
