Club racer whose Alfa Sud crashed heavily on the approach to the Esses on the third lap of the Powermods Alfa Romeo Championship at Mallory Park. He died of his injuries in the ambulance on the way to the Leicester Royal Infirmary.
He ran a sign-making business with his brother Simon in his hometown of Burnham, and started racing in the Alfa Romeo series in 1985. He moved to the Historic Car Club's Roadsport series, in which he raced an Alfa Romeo GTV. He took a break to concentrate on his business, before returning to racing in 2001 in the Le Mans AutoItalia series, Class B.
